Located in Toronto, Ontario Good Chemistry Films is led by co-founders Erin Sharp and Nicolina Lanni. Erin and Nicolina have produced countless titles in the factual and pop-culture documentary sphere including the Peabody and Emmy Award winning Hip-Hop Evolution, Degrassi: Whatever It Takes, This Is Pop, K-Pop Evolution, The Eleven and more.

NICOLINA LANNI
With over 20 years of film and television experience, Erin Sharp is both a practical and creative producer with a wealth of knowledge stemming from working on a diverse variety of programming.
In 2025, the documentary film Erin produced on the Degrassi franchise, Degrassi: Whatever it Takes, had its world premiere at TIFF 2025. 2025 also marked the launch of two more projects Erin produced, the docudrama series for Hulu entitled Into the Void and 50,000 First Dates: A True Story the two-part docuseries for Amazon about the unbelievable true story of Nesh Pillay, a woman who mysteriously lost the last 15 years of her memory.
For nearly a decade, Erin was the VP of Production at Banger Films overseeing a robust and award-winning slate of productions like the Peabody & Emmy Award-winning Hip-Hop Evolution for Netflix/Bell Media and the 2023 Canadian Screen Award-winning best documentary Sex With Sue. Other credits include the documentary feature films: Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story, Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine, the Grammy nominated ZZ Top: That Little Ol’ Band from Texas and Long Time Running. Documentary series include This is Pop, K-Pop Evolution, From The Vaults, and Rock Icons. Other programs include the kids series We are Savvy, and Gaming Show (In My Parents' Garage).
Prior to working at Banger Films, Erin's work in film and television has seen her working as a producer on the cult-favourite comedy for Showcase, Kenny vs Spenny to managing large-scale live specials for the CBC including the Royal Wedding (2012), 2012 London Olympics, provincial and federal elections at CBC News. Erin has worked in the factual entertainment/lifestyle space with many of Canada’s leading production companies.
With more than two decades in film and television, Nicolina is a producer whose work seamlessly blends creativity with clear-headed practicality.
Her career has taken her across five continents to direct, produce, and shoot compelling stories—whether filming K-Pop icons BTS in Seoul, documenting the tragic Norman Atlantic ferry fire in Italy, or returning objects swept across the Pacific after the 2011 Japanese tsunami to their owners in Japan.
Whatever the project, Nicolina delivers stories with purpose, precision, and heart.
As co-founder of Good Chemistry, she champions bold, emotionally resonant storytelling defined by humour, intimacy, and a strong visual signature. Before launching her own company, Nicolina led Unscripted Development at Banger Films, shaping standout series such as K-Pop Evolution, Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bass Players Human Too? and This Is Pop. Her independent work has screened at major festivals including Hot Docs, DOC NYC, Portland, and Hawai'i, and has reached global audiences through Netflix, Amazon, CBC, Paramount+, A+E, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and more.
A dedicated advocate for equity in the industry, she also co-founded Film Fatales Canada, the national chapter of a global organization committed to advancing the careers of filmmakers of all marginalized genders.
